Creating Response file for Oracle Access Management Installation using Life Cycle Management(LCM) Tool

In this lab we are going to see the response file generation using the LCM tool for Oracle Access Management.

Note:Here we are assuming that you have already installed the LCM tool. If not click here. Also you have created the folder structure properly. If not click here and see the section 2.5. You have also installed the database and Oracle Unified Directory (OUD).

1) Set JAVA_HOME Environment variable.
> export JAVA_HOME=/u01/lcmrepository/jdk

2) To start the Oracle Identity and Access Management Deployment Wizard, change to the following directory and start the script:
> cd /u01/app/oracle/products/fmw1213/Oracle_IDMLCM1/provisioning/bin
> ./iamDeploymentWizard.sh 
The Welcome page is displayed, click Next.


























3) Choose IAM Installation Option page is displayed.  Select Create a New Identity and Access Management Deployment Response File, click Next.




4) Specify Security Updates page is displayed. Unselect the checkbox I wish to receive the security updates via My Oracle Support and click Next.
























5) Email Address Not specified confirmation box appears. Click Yes. Click Next.






















6) Describe Response File page is displayed. Click Next.




























7) Select IAM Products screen is displayed. Select option Oracle Access Manager (OAM) Suite and Oracle Mobile Security Suite(OMSS)* only and then click Next.




























8) On the Directory Selection screen, select Use Existing Directory and choose Oracle Unified Directory from the Directory Type drop-down menu. Click Next.

























9)  On the Select Topology page, enter Host name and click Next.
























10) On the Select Installation and Configuration Location provide the following values, and then click Next.





























11) On the Directory Configuration Location provide the following values, and then click Next.

























12) Configure HTTP Server screen is displayed. Review the default ports. Click Next.



























13) Configure Oracle Access Manager screen is displayed. Review the default ports. Click Next.

























14) Configure Oracle Mobile Security Manager screen is displayed. Review the default ports.Click Next.



15) Configure Access Policy Manager screen is displayed. Review the default ports.Click Next.




























16) Configure Oracle Access Manager Database screen is displayed. Select Create Schema using RCU checkbox and radio button Single Instance Database. Provide the following inputs and click Next.





























17) To enter a common password for all the accounts to be created, enter the password in the Enter Common IAM Password field, and then re-enter the password in the Confirm Common Password field. Also enter password for existing OUD users.



























18) Summary screen appears, make a note of the directory where the response file is created. Click Finish.


























19) Implementer can verify if the response file have been succesfully created by following the command Navigate to the following directory and view the files
> cd /u01/app/oracle/products/fmw1213/Oracle_IDMLCM1/provisioning/bin
> ls provisioning*
This command should display two files provisioning.rsp and provisioning.summary.
